Our featured bike-trek tour is The Yeti Special and combines trekking and biking along the Annapurna Circuit. First, trek up to through astonishing natural landscapes that reveal diverse cultural traditions on the way to the Himalayan high pass, the Thorang La, 5416 meters (17,769 ft). Starting this journey with the trekking portion of the two-phase adventure allows time for proper acclimatization along the way. The Thorang La is a watershed pass between two major valleys, the Mustang (Kali Gandaki River) and Manang (Marsyangdi River) valleys. Here at the high mountain pass bicycles have been delivered and await us for an exhilarating descent. It is truly all downhill from the pass as you breeze through the serene Kali Gandaki Valley.
